What is Alluqi?
Alluqi is the company. Bridge is its workspace for using models, files and tools on hardware and networks you choose.
What is the difference between desktop and mobile?
Desktop runs the workspace and connects to your selected model endpoint. A paired phone continues an authorized desktop session; it does not move the model to the phone.
Can I get Bridge today?
Request an invitation. Personal desktop access is free, invite-only and requires an Alluqi account; requesting access does not guarantee an invitation or date.
Is personal use free?
Yes, Bridge Desktop is free for personal use on Mac and Windows. Connecting an iPhone or Android phone is a paid upgrade.
Which operating systems can I use?
Bridge Desktop runs on Mac and Windows. Mobile access supports iPhone and Android through approved pairing. Use the official download page for the available builds.
Do I need to be a developer?
No. You can work with documents, presentations, images and private project material. The available work still depends on your models, tools and permissions.
Which models can I use?
Connect a supported model runtime, such as Ollama or vLLM, and select a model available on that endpoint. Compatibility and performance depend on the actual model, runtime and hardware.
Does Bridge include a model?
Bridge connects to the model endpoint you configure. Install and run the model in the runtime you choose; an Alluqi account is not a hosted model provider.
Will it run on my current computer?
That depends on the model and workload. Check the runtime’s requirements and available memory before choosing a model; a model name alone does not establish that it will fit.
Do I need a dedicated model server?
No, a suitable computer can run a local model. A separate server can make sense when a model or shared workload needs more resources.
Can I use a model server on my network?
Yes, configure the runtime endpoint reachable from the desktop. Check the server address, network policy and selected model before sending private work.
Can I switch models later?
Yes, choose another available model in the configured runtime controls. Check its capabilities and context limits; changing models does not change your file or tool permissions.
Ollama or vLLM?
Use the runtime that suits your hardware, models and administration needs. Bridge has direct endpoint profiles for both; test the particular runtime and model rather than treating a profile as a compatibility guarantee.
Are local model requests metered by Alluqi?
No. Alluqi does not charge per request for inference on your own local endpoints. Hardware, electricity, connectivity, external providers and separately agreed services can have their own costs.
Can I generate images locally?
Yes, with a configured supported private image service such as ComfyUI. The installed model, workflow and hardware determine what the endpoint can produce.
What does on-prem mean?
The model service runs on hardware at your location or within your controlled environment. Review all connected tools and external endpoints as well as the model location.
What does hybrid mean?
It means a workflow can include local work and separately enabled external connections, such as web search. Each external tool or model endpoint has its own data boundary.
Where is my request processed?
The selected endpoint processes model requests. Local or LAN endpoints keep that model step in your environment; an explicitly confirmed public endpoint can receive prompt and tool data outside it.
Can I change my setup later?
You can change supported endpoint and model settings. Review hardware, network access, model behavior and tool permissions again when you change the setup.
What does Alluqi Managed include?
Alluqi owns the hardware when Alluqi manages it. Hardware rental is not offered today. Arrangements are case by case through sales.
What can I do from my phone?
Continue supported work on an approved desktop session. The desktop and selected model endpoint do the work, while pairing and workspace permissions govern access.
Does the phone need a connection?
Yes. The phone needs a working connection to reach the paired desktop through the supported connection path. A saved pairing does not prove the desktop is currently reachable.
What happens if the phone disconnects?
Reconnect to the intended desktop and check the current result before repeating a change. The rc.32 reconnect path can reconcile supported project-change results; an uncertain action should not be blindly replayed.
Can I pair more than one device?
Use the paired-device controls to review approved devices and each device’s current access. Check the actual connection rather than assuming a listed device is live.
How do I remove a lost phone?
Revoke the exact device in the paired-device controls and verify the resulting state. That phone needs a new approved pairing to regain access.
How do I install the mobile app?
Open Alluqi’s official download page and follow the available iPhone or Android route. Mobile is a paid upgrade and still requires an approved desktop pairing.
Can I create documents and presentations?
Yes. Space holds local Pages and Slides, with editing and supported exports. Review the saved output and exported file before sharing it.
What can a local Site do?
A Site holds a static HTML, CSS and JavaScript draft with an isolated preview, versions and source ZIP export. Creating it does not publish it or connect hosting, a database or sign-in.
Can I edit an image without losing the original?
Supported local image edits create a new Space asset and preserve the original and document references. Use the returned result when updating your work.
Can Bridge run a scheduled task?
Yes, supported local schedules can save recurring work under the task’s permission and model boundaries. The desktop must be running; verify the saved schedule and next run.
Can I use voice?
Voice controls are opt-in and depend on your local microphone, dictation setup and installed system voices. This does not promise voice cloning or a new voice-generation model.
Does my data go to a cloud model?
Only if your selected endpoint or enabled tool sends it there. Local model requests go directly to the configured local or LAN endpoint; review public endpoints and optional web connections separately.
What does the account service handle?
Account, registered-device and pairing information support the connection between approved devices. The account service is separate from the model endpoint and local workspace.
How is phone traffic protected?
The supported relay path carries authenticated end-to-end encrypted payloads between paired devices. Pairing, current authorization and endpoint security still matter.
Where are my sessions and settings stored?
The desktop keeps local sessions, settings and Space records in its profile storage. Exports, external tools and public model endpoints create separate boundaries.
What keeps a tool inside the right scope?
Workspace permissions, tool approvals, sandbox rules and any managed policy govern actions. Review an action’s actual effect; a model choice or phone pairing does not bypass those controls.
Does deleting a chat erase every copy?
Do not assume so. Archives, permanent cleanup, Space revisions, exported files and external services have different behavior. Review the exact storage action and any other copies you created.
What should I send when asking about a deployment?
Describe the workflow, intended users, hardware and network boundary. Use synthetic examples instead of private files, credentials or sensitive personal material.
Can Alluqi help plan the hardware?
Contact sales to discuss the workload, model endpoint and deployment environment. The agreed proposal defines the hardware and services.
Can Bridge connect to another business system?
Only through a supported tool or configured integration with the right authorization. Describe the system and workflow first; do not assume a named app is already connected.
How long does a deployment take?
Ask for a schedule based on the agreed work. This site does not promise a standard delivery time for every environment.
How do I get support?
Use Email support on the Contact page and explain the version, symptoms and steps you tried. Do not send passwords, pairing invitations, keys or confidential files.
How do I sign in?
Use your Alluqi account and the verification flow shown by the app. Follow the two-factor prompt if enabled; sign-in alone does not approve remote desktop access.
Why does personal use need an account?
Personal access is invite-only and uses an Alluqi account. Account and device pairing are separate from the model service running on your hardware.
How do I point Bridge at a local model?
Run the model service, open Configuration and select its local endpoint and model. Test a small non-sensitive request before using private project material.
What if an endpoint needs an API key?
Use the desktop’s endpoint setup controls. Never paste a credential into a chat, website form or support message. Public endpoints can receive request data outside your network.
Where are model and notification settings?
In the shipped desktop release, runtime and image configuration is under Configuration, and notification controls are under General. Dedicated newer pages are not assumed by these instructions.
Where can I manage account or billing actions?
Open your Alluqi account on alluqi.ai. Marketing and documentation pages explain access but do not implement account or billing administration.
Does Alluqi train models on my work?
Alluqi does not train models on your prompts, files or outputs.
Who owns my inputs and outputs?
You own your inputs and outputs. Alluqi never sees your prompts, files or outputs. If you choose an external or cloud model provider, that provider’s terms apply to the data you send it.
Can Alluqi staff see my files or chats?
Alluqi staff can see account details needed for support, never your local files or chats.
Does Alluqi sell my data or use it for advertising?
Alluqi does not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Does Alluqi offer a DPA?
Contact sales for data processing terms. Alluqi does not offer a DPA today.
Can I discuss HIPAA requirements with Alluqi?
Bridge keeps patient data on your hardware and Alluqi never sees it; contact sales about HIPAA requirements. An external or cloud model provider you choose is governed by that provider’s terms.
